This desk is from a series of four desks designed according to the thoughts behind New Ways of Working. The desk was showed for the first time at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2016, where it was well received. The pillow is intended for power-napping. The designer of the desk is the Danish architect Tine Mouritsen.
The main benefits of power-napping include improving alertness and memory retention, sharpening motor skills and increasing stamina. NASA sleep researchers have found that a nap of 26 minutes can boost performance by 34%.
