HEIMDALL – Combined table and shelf

This project was created based on a collaboration between LINAK, Vinje Design and as a collage project at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. It is based on the thoughts behind Design Meets Movement.
The project functions as both a shelf and a table. By means of a lifting column, the tabletop can be raised to display the shelf. Integrated in the tabletop is a wireless charger and the table can be operated by an integrated desk panel or by Bluetooth® connection and an app. The inner shelf can be rotated around its own axis, enabling easy access.
